for Rise: A Virtual Retreat for Women Breaking Free from Emotional Abuse
Hosted by Your Divorce Survival Guide, Inc. (California)

By completing your purchase of the Rise Virtual Retreat (“Retreat”), you (“Participant”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions, which form a binding legal agreement between you and Your Divorce Survival Guide, Inc., a California corporation (“Host,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).


If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase access to the Retreat.




1. Non-Refundable Purchase


ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.


By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your payment (full or payment plan) is non-refundable,

  • You are responsible for completing all payments, and

  • Stopping attendance or participation does not relieve you of your financial obligation.


This policy applies to all payment methods, including Stripe and PayPal.


2. Payment Plans


If you choose a payment plan:

  • You authorize Host to automatically charge your payment method for all installments.

  • Failed payments will be automatically retried two times.

  • If a payment remains unsuccessful, your access to Retreat materials may be paused until the balance is resolved.

  • You remain responsible for completing the full payment plan regardless of participation.

3. Chargeback Policy

You agree not to initiate a chargeback with your credit card company or payment processor.


If you initiate a chargeback, you will be responsible for:

  • The full outstanding balance,

  • Any associated fees,

  • All costs incurred by Host in responding to or disputing the chargeback.


Chargebacks will be treated as a breach of these Terms.


4. Retreat Delivery


The Retreat takes place March 13–14, 2026 via Zoom.


You will receive:

  • Access to live sessions

  • Lifetime access to replays

  • Any materials or bonuses provided (at Host’s discretion)


All materials will be delivered via email unless otherwise noted.


5. Event Rescheduling or Cancellation


If Host must reschedule the Retreat for any reason (including emergency, illness, or circumstances beyond Host’s control), your purchase will automatically transfer to the new date. No refunds will be issued.


If Host cancels the Retreat entirely, Participants will receive a credit equal to the purchase price to be used toward another program or event. No refunds will be provided.


6. Professional Disclaimer

The Retreat is for educational purposes only.


By participating, you understand and agree that:

  • Host and Guest Faculty are not providing legal, therapeutic, financial, or medical advice

  • Participation does not create a therapist–client or attorney–client relationship

  • All information is general and may not be suited to your personal situation


You are responsible for seeking professional advice as appropriate.


7. Trauma-Informed Safety Disclaimer


The Retreat may address sensitive topics including emotional abuse, trauma, relationships, and personal history.


By enrolling, you acknowledge that:

  • The Retreat is not a substitute for therapy, crisis services, mental health treatment, or legal advice

  • Host and Guest Faculty are not providing crisis intervention

  • If you are in immediate danger or crisis, you must contact local emergency services or a licensed professional

  • You participate voluntarily and are responsible for your own emotional safety and boundaries


8. Participant Conduct & Removal


To maintain a safe environment, Participants agree to:

  • Engage respectfully with Host, Guest Faculty, and other Participants

  • Refrain from abusive, disruptive, or harmful behavior

  • Honor confidentiality and privacy of fellow Participants


Host may remove any Participant who violates these standards at Host’s sole discretion, without refund.


9. Intellectual Property Rights


All Retreat content—including slides, recordings, worksheets, frameworks, scripts, audio, bonus materials, and any other deliverables—is the intellectual property of Host or Guest Faculty.


Participants may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute materials

  • Share login links or replays with others

  • Teach, license, or adapt retreat content

  • Use retreat materials to create derivative programs

  • Upload content into AI systems or tools for training, analysis, or replication


Unauthorized use is a violation of these Terms and may result in legal action.


10. Bonuses


Any bonuses offered are provided as a courtesy and may be modified, replaced, or discontinued at Host’s discretion.


Bonuses do not alter the non-refundable nature of the purchase.


11. Technology Requirements


You are responsible for:

  • Having a stable internet connection

  • Having access to Zoom

  • Updating your software and devices


Host is not responsible for technical issues on your end and cannot provide refunds or credits due to connectivity problems.


12. Confidentiality


Participants must keep all shared stories, comments, and personal disclosures confidential. Recording sessions on your own device is strictly prohibited.


13. Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Host and Guest Faculty shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your participation

  • Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Retreat is to discontinue participation


14. Governing Law


These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes must be resolved in California courts or through arbitration agreed upon by both parties.
