If you are navigating divorce, healing from emotional abuse, or trying to find your way back to yourself in the middle of it all, this retreat is designed for you. For three days, everything is taken care of so you can focus on what you actually need: clarity, connection, and space to breathe again.
Spots are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate.
Holding the confusion. The second-guessing. The hypervigilance. The weight of decisions that feel impossible to get “right.”
And for so many women, even after leaving, the nervous system never quite gets the message that it’s safe now.
This is not a vacation. It’s not a conference. And it’s not about surface-level empowerment. (If you know me, you know how I feel about toxic positivity!).
“The transformation in all of us was nothing short of remarkable.”
“In Sedona I was able to release the fear and guilt that had been holding me back from moving on with my life. I came home lighter, freer and feeling part of a tribe! The transformation in all of us was nothing short of remarkable.”
The entire property is reserved exclusively for our group. No outside guests. No interruptions. No managing anyone else’s needs. Everything is handled for you.
On six acres with an artesian spring, ponds, and paths to wander under tall cottonwood and sycamore trees, Ancient Sprints is the perfect place for a nervous system reset.
Shell and Roxy source all the food they lovingly prepare from local, sustainable farms, including their own on the Ancient Springs property itself.
You don’t have to plan. You don’t have to manage. You don’t have to anticipate anyone else’s needs.
You simply get to receive the gorgeous bounty so lovingly created by these two rockstar chefs.
You were constantly anticipating someone else’s reactions
Your needs were minimized or ignored
Rest didn’t feel safe
And support came with conditions
Your needs are considered without you having to fight for them
You are supported without being questioned
You are surrounded by women who understand without explanation and you are loved unconditionally

The days were filled with teachings, exercises and healing. After the retreat, I felt a shift in my thinking, and in my outlook. I’m so grateful to Kate for taking us to a magical location for healing work. It was worth every penny.”

“We’re all still connected and I believe we have a forever bond!”
“Kate created a space where we could release our burdens, a safe place to finally face our fears and a place to find lifelong friends that lift us up and have our backs. I can’t actually believe the retreat was only 3 days. It feels like I’ve known these women for years. We’re all still connected and I believe we have a forever bond!”
Living inside something that required you to hold more than anyone should.
This is where you get to put some of that down.
Transportation is not included in the price of the retreat. You are responsible for your own airfare in and out of Phoenix (recommended), which is about 90 minutes from the retreat center. Once all participants’ flights are booked, we will connect you with people coming in at similar times so you can carpool to the retreat center together.
In the past we’ve found it easier and less expensive for people to fly into and out of Phoenix. Flagstaff is closer to Sedona, but there are fewer flights, and they are generally more expensive.
Our time at The Ancient Springs Retreat Center is reserved for the duration of our retreat only. There are plenty of hotels around Flagstaff, Phoenix, or Sedona should you wish to enjoy the area for longer.
All rooms are double occupancy, with two twin beds in each room. Past participants have found the accommodations incredibly comfortable, and the room-sharing lovely and intimate. We intentionally pair people based on information from your intake forms.
Check-in begins at 3 pm, and we officially begin at 5 pm. Because of the intimate nature of this retreat, I ask that you do everything you can to book a flight that will get you here in time so we may begin the experience together.
We will complete our work together on Saturday night so you’ll free to leave at any point on Sunday before our noon check-out time. Please don’t plan to fly out before Sunday as completion as a group is an important part of our experience together.
Our private chefs, Shell and Roxy, are experienced in accommodating various dietary preferences and needs. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and low or no sugar options are available with sufficient advance notice. Meals are served as a buffet with multiple beverage options, including filtered water, coffee, and a slection of teas available throughout the day.
Depending when you book, there are payment plans available.
Due to the nature of this event, no refunds will be issued or installment payments cancelled. Your registration is only transferable if we approve the replacement participant. It is your responsibility to find a replacement for your spot (if you chose to do so), who we will then approve (or not) based on our criteria.
This retreat is an opportunity for you to meet new people, make new friends, and work on yourself. Bringing a friend for the fun of it is not allowed. If you really want to bring a friend, they need to be also going through divorce, and should be familiar with Kate’s work. The entire group should be there for the same purpose, otherwise it can be disruptive to the group as a whole.
